Katsina State Manpower Audit and Verification Committee Concludes Assignment

The Katsina State Manpower Audit and Verification Committee have successfully completed their task, submitting a comprehensive report to the State’s Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Usman Isyaku. The committee, chaired by Alhaji Rabi’u Abdu Ruma, painstakingly compiled this report, intending it to serve as a vital database for the upcoming public sector reforms initiated by the state government.

Alhaji Rabi’u Ruma emphasized that this report, along with its annexures, would not only benefit the current administration and its workforce but also serve as a reference for future governments and generations of civil servants in the state.

He expressed gratitude to the state government, the Head of the Civil Service, and the offices of the Auditor General and the Accountant General for their unwavering support in accomplishing the committee’s mission. Alhaji Rabi’u Ruma also acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the organized labor, duly represented by the chairmen of the state chapters of the NLC and TUC.

In response, the Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Usman Isyaku, assured that the report would be presented to Katsina State Governor Mallam Dikko Umar Radda, Ph.D., for possible implementation of the committee’s reform recommendations within the public service. He expressed confidence in the administration’s commitment to reform the civil service for the state’s development.
